Ashes to Diamond Pricing
Every BlueIce memorial diamond is one-of-a-kind, crafted individually to honor their story and your personal wishes.
Memorial diamond price and sizes
Final cost depends on three key factors:
- Carat weight – Larger diamonds require longer growth time and higher cost.
- Cut or uncut – Uncut (rough) diamonds have a raw, natural look and are priced lower.
- Carbon source – Choose ashes, hair, or a blend of both for the creation.

Memorial Diamond Carbon Sources
The BlueIce Classic Memorial Diamond is created entirely from the carbon extracted from your loved one’s cremation ashes. We typically require around 400–500 grams of ashes to grow a single diamond.
BlueIce Hair Diamond
Our memorial diamonds can also be grown from the purified carbon in hair. This option needs approximately 5–10 grams of hair and is perfect for families who prefer traditional burial practices or when cremation isn’t chosen or culturally accepted.
Size and quantity of diamonds

Instead of a single memorial diamond, BlueIce Gems offers the option to create up to four smaller family diamonds from the ashes or hair of your loved one. This way, multiple family members can each carry a personal keepsake of their shared memories.
Family diamonds are available in brilliant cut or rough finish, in these standard combinations:
4 × 0.15 Carat = 0.6 Carat
3 × 0.2 Carat = 0.6 Carat
Custom quantities or sizes can be arranged on request.
